you can get involved

Create
Resources
|
You
can participate by submitting activities related to
the First-Year Book that can be implemented in other
classes. Your activities will be uploaded to the resources
section in our WebCT course platform for the book "Dead
Man Walking." You can submit
your activities using the electronic form linked bellow
or you can download the fillable PDF form onto
your computer and send it as an attachment by email
to firstyearbook[at]umd[dot]edu).

Organize
Events
|
| In
addition, you can participate by submitting information
about any event you are organizing on Campus related
with the First Year Book selection. Your event will
be uploaded to the FYB calendar where any of the
members of our community can access to the information.
Use any of the form submission that is more comfortable
to you. |

the Course Resources Platform

A
special community site has been prepared in WebCT for
you to use with your students. Let us know your interest
in use the book with your class and we will give you
and your students access to the site. Learning activities,
additional resources, and discussion tools are already
there for your convenience to use them and expand in
any way you consider useful for your purpose.

|
We
will create private rooms for your group to discuss
the issues you are interested in or you can access
to the general ongoing discussions in
the public space.

Share
your Student's Outcomes
|
Faculty
members are invited to post student work -with their
permission, that will be posted in the WebCT site.
